"People are people. Black, blue, pink, green... God make no rules about color." -Bob Marley

The title to this post is a Bob Marley quote so colorful that we had to illustrate it.  He consistently rejected racial bias and championed racial equality and unity.  Listen to other Bob quotes, for example:

“If you’re white and you’re wrong, then you’re wrong, if you’re black and you’re wrong, you’re wrong. People are people. Black, blue, pink, green—God make no rules about color.”

My father was a white guy, my mother was black woman, and I came in between. Like, you know, I’m nothing. All I have is God.

“The God who mek I and I, him create technicolor people.

“People is people, you know?”

“Everybody in the world, no matter what his color… belongs to Jah.”

Why me don’t have no prejudices about myself? My father is a white man and my mother’s black. Them call me half-caste, or whatever. Well, me don’ dip on nobody’s side. Me no dip on the black man’s side, nor the white man’s side, but upon God’s side, the man who create me, who cause me to come from black and white.”

“Me, personally, me can’t be prejudice. Me can’t think about life that way because me figure if you’re prejudice, that means you have a hate. If you have a hate inside of you, you can’t be righteous.”

“I don’t have prejudice against myself.”

“Me don’ dip on the black man’s side, nor the white man’s side, me dip on God’s side.”

The different people of the earth are the different flowers of the earth. Jah made them all.”

I don’t even have any ambition. I only have one t’ing that I would really like to see happen. I like to see mankind live together: Black, White, Chinese… anyone, y’know what I mean? That’s all.

“Unity is the world’s key, and racial harmony.”

“I’m dealing with universal togetherness.”

“One love.”
